Showcasing Expertise in Data Privacy and Cybersecurity at the New York State DPSS Conference
Two members of the WNYRIC team, Dave Scalzo and Dave Kajdasz, showcased their expertise at the NYS DPSS Conference, which focuses on data privacy and protection schools. Dave Scalzo co-presented “Data Privacy Inventory Tool: Navigating Today and Tomorrow,” highlighting how districts can utilize this tool to meet Education Law 2-d compliance and NIST requirements, while exploring its future potential. Dave Kajdasz participated in a panel discussion, “Thwart the Bad Guys! Increase Security, Simplify Management and Lower Costs with a Security Fabric,” where he shared WNYRIC’s innovative cybersecurity strategies that safeguard 70 districts and 100,000 email mailboxes. Their contributions highlight our dedication to improving education technology and maintaining secure, compliant learning environments.
